Anjelica is a graduate of The University of Akron’s Master of Marriage and Family Therapy / Counseling program and is dually licensed in Ohio as an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist–Supervisor (IMFT-S) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor–Supervisor (LPCC-S). Rising Rose Relational Therapy is her cash-pay relationship therapy practice — her own book, her own hours, her own process.
She also holds a bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies (2013) from The Ohio State University. She is a co-author of “Systemic Supervision,” published in Family Therapy Magazine. Post-graduate work since 2016, in both agency and private practice settings.
Before this practice, she was a therapist at Child Guidance, Avenues of Counseling, and Healing Pathways- where she later served as clinical director. She opened Rising Rose Relational Therapy after that chapter — not as a second office of that clinic.
She provides individual, couples, and family therapy for ages 10 and up. She specializes in work with the LGBTQ+ community and also provides Gottman couples assessments. Couples work is Structured couples therapy: assessment, a map of the relationship, and skills you can actually use.
Outside the room she likes trying new local restaurants, exploring Cleveland, and traveling.
