Telehealth
Online therapy anywhere in Ohio, for individuals, couples, and families
Rising Rose Relational Therapy is a telehealth practice. Every session is by secure video with Anjelica M. Nelson, M.Ed, LPCC-S, IMFT-S, for clients physically anywhere in Ohio. There is no in-person office, so there is no commute, and the person you meet on the fit call is the therapist you will work with.
Three ways to work together
- Individual therapy, ages 18 and up: relational work for one adult.
- Couples therapy: structured couples work for partners anywhere in Ohio. Completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
- Family therapy, children ages 10 and up: work with the family system as a whole.
How online therapy works here
Sessions take place by video using SimplePractice. You need a private room, a laptop or tablet with a camera (a phone works in a pinch), headphones if others are home, and a steady internet connection.
Everyone in the session needs to be physically in Ohio, and location is confirmed at the start of each session. If you'll be out of state, reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice.
Who online therapy fits
It isn't the right format for every situation. If there is a safety concern, say so on the fit call, and Anjelica will talk through what would be a better next step.
- people anywhere in Ohio, including Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Akron, Canton, Cleveland, and smaller towns;
- schedules that make a weekly office visit hard;
- anyone who prefers private pay so no diagnosis goes to an insurer.
How starting works
- Free 15-minute fit call. Request a time.
- Intake paperwork. Informed consent, telehealth consent, and a Good Faith Estimate. A card is stored before session one.
- Sessions by secure video. 50 or 80 minutes, from a private room anywhere in Ohio.
Fees and private pay
Individual sessions are $160 for 50 minutes or $190 for 80 minutes. Couples / relational sessions are $190 for 50 minutes or $220 for 80 minutes. The 15-minute fit call is free.
HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and a superbill is available on request. Every client receives a Good Faith Estimate before the first session. Late cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice are charged the full fee. See the fees page.
What this is not
This practice is not a crisis service. If anyone is in danger, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Can I join from outside Ohio?

Who will I meet with?
Anjelica M. Nelson, M.Ed, LPCC-S, IMFT-S, does the fit call and every session herself.
